Large Format Photography

In my series, Eclectic Cluster, I photographed black and white film still lives of gathers objects around my home. Inspired by the style of Jan Groover, I created my images by scattering multiple elements throughout the frame. I used a large depth of field, paying attention to reflection, composition and form with the intention of directing the viewer's eye to texture and detail. The goal was to remove my treasured family artifacts from their standard displays and present them in an unconventional, compelling manner.
